José Ignacio Fernández Iglesias commonly known as Nacho.He is a Spanish professional footballer. Who plays for Real Madrid mainly as a central defender. But also as a right or left back.Born in Madrid, Nacho become part of   Real Madrid‘s youth system at the age of 11. He made his senior first entry in 2008–09, playing two games with the reserves in Segunda División B . Afterward appearing in a more  two full seasons in that level. It was during this time he formed a long-lasting friendship with future Russian national teamplayer Denis Cheryshev. On 23 April 2011, Nacho made his first-team – and La Liga – was firstly  starting as a left back in a 6–3 away win verses Valencia CF and play in whole match.] He was shown second time in following week, in a 2–3 home loss to Real Zaragoza.

After playing for Spain at under-17under-19 and under-21 levels. He made his first appearance  changing  Real Madrid teammate Sergio Ramos early into the second half of the 2–2 draw verses Chile in Geneva.


Nacho was named in Spain’s final squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. He made his first goal  for his country on 15 June. A player known for his  flexibility in every defensive position on the field, both Julen Lopetegui and Zinedine Zidane used Nacho as a centre, right and left back. He is known as efficient full-back option due to his skills on the ball ,and affection for making forward runs down his flank. A fast, agile and injury-free defender who is known for his work rate, bearness and strength in the air against not being  specifically tall for his position, he is dependable and also links up well with Real Madrid and Spain teammate Ramos
